Whether you have your own plan, pick one of our existing plans, or want us to design a new house plan, our mission is to design a place you can call home that is specific to your needs and lifestyle.  Working closely with you, we are able to put our creative spin on your designs allowing you to make it personalized to create your dream home.  This combined with our exceptional workmanship and service creates lasting value in your dream home for years to come. 

Building a home is an exciting adventure and personal milestone in your life.  Despite the rewards of building your home, the construction process can be confusing and overwhelming .  We will support you every step of the way to eliminate the confusion, make it less overwhelming, and ensure a smooth transaction.  We will work together to design or choose a house plan to fit your needs, guide you as you make selection choices in flooring, cabinets, fixtures, etc…, provide continuous communication throughout the process, and accompany you on a final walk-thru prior to closing to ensure you are receiving the high quality dream home you deserve.

Our team approach allows us to remain on top of each step of the building process and make customer service a top priority throughout this process and beyond.  Our team consists of the two company owners, Kris Cutler and George Lewis, and our real estate agent, Mary Ann White of Napier ERA.  We work with highly skilled subcontractors and suppliers.  We personally supervise the workmanship at house sites to ensure it is high quality, to keep track of the status of the construction process, confirm accuracy of materials and/or selections, and resolve any complications quickly if needed.  We work hard to keep each client informed throughout the process with weekly construction status updates, and are available to answer questions and/or discuss concerns.  Our customer service continues beyond the completion of construction with availability for questions, concerns, and the execution of our one-year warranty follow-up.  Our team goes above and beyond to ensure this is an enjoyable adventure and a smooth transaction.

Our company was founded in 2004 by Kris Cutler and George Lewis.  Together we bring over 35 years of experience in the construction and real estate businesses, as well as the tradition of three generations of builders in Kris’ family. Through the years, C & L Construction, LLC, has built quality homes that far surpass our homebuyers’ expectations.  Our homes can be found among the tri-cities area with our primary building locations in Prince George, Dinwiddie, Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, and surrounding areas.  We strive to create unique, high quality, and competitively priced homes designed around the homebuyers’ lifestyle.
